Welcome to POYP

Advanced yoga training and certification in Ottawa has arrived. There are a range for 200-hour yoga certification programs but limited opportunity for teachers to begin the journey of deeper understanding of the tradition of yoga and how to evolve their teaching beyond asana (poses).

POYP faculty are 500-hour ERYT certified with the Yoga Alliance (a body that establishes yoga standards and certifies accordingly). We offer an approach to yoga that is not style-based but includes a range of teachings from both Classical Yoga and Tantra schools of yoga.  

We are excited to offer students of POYP a self administered account through this site to keep track of module and assignment completion.

POYP is also focused on providing mentorship to participants.

POYP offers discounts to those registering early (30 days in advance) for individual modules and a larger discount to individuals committing to all five modules; those who register in advance for all five pay for four - a 20% discount.

POYP commits to offering each module at least once per calendary year.
